Peachy Keen Stamps Guest Designer day 3

Welcome back to day 3 of my week as guest designer for Peachy Keen Stamps!  First...let me apologize for the quality of the photos....my camera is acting up and wont let me take any pictures so I had to use my camera phone and it just doesn't show detail as well as the camera does :(

Anyway....I am loving how today's project turned out!  I have created a homework station for my kiddos.  They each have a slot to keep their important papers and folders that I created using shipping boxes.  I cut and covered the boxes with this fun faux wood contact paper.  (I didn't even plan for it to match the shelf I put it on LOL)  I made a little box in the front to hold things like pens, pencils, dry erase markers, ect. to be ready when needed. Then I cut out some cute faces with my cricut using the Paper Doll Dress up cartridges and used the Laughy Taffy face stamps by Peachy Keen Stamps to add the perfect little faces!

I used the same faces (but smaller ;) ) to create some magnets for the kiddo calender above.  I will use this to keep track of all things kiddo related (dr. appt. , tests, sporting events, etc.)

The kids really like how it turned out too!!!!

Peachy Keen Guest Designer - Day 2

Welcome back my crafty friends for day 2 of my Guest Designer week with Peachy Keen Stamps.  I have a quick layout for you today.  Every year I take a photo of my kiddos at the end of our long driveway waiting for the bus and I just love it.....new backpacks, new clothes, standing so nice in a row waiting for the bus!  Here is a photo from last year and the year before.

So...this year I am ahead of the game and I have my page done and ready for the photos to be placed upon it.  My kiddos start school on Thursday!  For this page I used the Faceless Fruit set to add that final touch to my layout.  I love how just that simple little image completes the page!

That is the last of my "flat" projects for this week as Guest Designer for Peachy Keen Stamps.  I am so excited to share my projects for the rest of the week.  Come back tomorrow for the first of my altered projects of the week!  Remember to leave a comment here and over on the Peachy Keen blog for your chance to win these cute face stamps sponsored by Peachy Keen Stamps:

Peachy Keen Stamps Guest Designer week - Day 1

Hello my crafty friends!  I am so excited!!!!  I am finally home today after a long summer of travels for our family business...and what an awesome way to celebrate!  I am so in the mood to get crafting away and so happy to have the opportunity to be a guest designer this week for Peachy Keen Stamps!  I have had the chance to meet the Peachy Queen Kathy and she is just as sweet as her stamps are!

My kids go back to school this week and I am following along with the other awesome designers and going with the unplanned theme of the month....BACK TO SCHOOL.  :)

Today I have a fun shaker card for one of my children to share with their teacher.  I was at a small Bulk food store a couple of weeks ago and found a bag of Alphabet noodles and knew exactly what I wanted to do.   I love how perfect the Critter Face stamp worked along with the apple from the Faceless Fruit set.  I think it is just adorable!

I cut out the ABC border using the Graphically Speaking Cricut Cartridge and used the plastic packaging from a recent cartridge purchase to create a window for my ABC pasta.  A small bag of pasta goes a LONG way! (TeeHee...I see lots of similar cards in the near future)  A few pieces of foam tape along the edges of the frame and we have created a box to house the ABC's.  Then I threw together a quick little sentiment tag (I was thinking on the lines of "HAPPY NEW YEAR" when I wrote "HAPPY SCHOOL YEAR!"  My son doesn't think so as he is going into 6th grade....but my little girls are excited for another amazing school year to begin.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again tomorrow.  Have a Peachy Day!!!!

Getting back into the swing of things!

Hello all of my crafty friends!  Another summer has come and gone.  We have been busy as usual traveling the state to a new town each week with our family run carnival.  I am so happy to say that tomorrow the kids and I will be going home!  I am looking forward to getting back in back into the school year schedule and into my comfort zone where it will be easier to find time to craft again!

In celebration of being back home (and to jump start the beginning of my crafting season).....I am so excited to be a guest designer for Peachy Keen Stamps.  Come back and visit me everyday this week (starting Monday) for a fun Peachy Keen week of projects!

Have a great day!
