New Name ~ New Background ~ New Plan!!!

OK!  I changed the name of the blog and I found this cute background over at Shabbyblogs.com.  I have decided I am going to try something new.  I am going to work on designing some borders with my new best friend (Her name is Gypsy :))  I will post the links to the backgrounds here and we will have challenges  to create with the borders.  I will be looking for a design team once I get up and started to keep an eye out for that!

I am excited!!!!!!

Some .cut files to share

Well....I am home sick today.  I am on my 3rd day of the lovely H1N1 flu and I tried to go to work this morning but I just didn't have enough energy to take care of the kids and I barely have a voice.  So, I am home with my sick 7 year old and we are hanging out in the living room watching tv and I am playing with my DS.  I think we will be taking a nap soon too!  :)

Anyway....I came up with a couple of .cut files to share.

First...a simple graveyard border  I used PPDU for this file.  There are two pages in this file (that is why the image looks doubled).  Cut the first layer in black and the shadow layer in gray go give a shadow effect.
Download the file here: http://www.mediafire.com/?0u02nyd3mwy

Here is another graveyard without a tree and it is a bit smaller:

The second file is a tic tac box holder with a snowman on the front.  Someone on the cricut message board was asking someone to come up with something like this so I decided to try my hand at it.  I used GBS and PDDU for this file.  There are 5 pages in this file (one page for each element so you can change your paper color).  He is kind of close to the edge so I might have to move him.  If I feel better this afternoon I will get up and try to cut this out.  I think it is going to be very cute!  Can't wait to try it.
You can download the tic tac box holder here: http://www.mediafire.com/?0u02nyd3mwy

Here is a "beer" bottle someone was looking for over on the Cricut MB: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=5624c9ba3503eef35bf1f12f1ff3f30ae04e75f6e8ebb871
